My name is William Burton Jr. I am a visual artist/ pyrographer, born and raised in St Louis, Mo.

Art has always been an essential part of my life as long as I can remember. My mother always said I have been drawing since I learned to hold a pencil. It’s a God-given gift that I strive to respect and perfect, within myself, so I may continue to bless others with my creative visions.

Art is the vital essence to my existence. It is my internal source of communication to my Creator and viewers. It is also my city of refuge that provides me with an escape to a world spiritual and emotional peace.

I am a detailed artist. I was always fascinated with the details in the paintings of the Renaissance masters and that’s something I want to emulate in my work. My mission is to present the world with thought provoking art/ images. Images that are a reflection of my world and experiences; also to shed light on the realities of life that society tries so desperately to cover up.

My mission is to show the world the evidence of a Divine blessing.

The amount of time spent on my work varies. It depends on a number of things... my frame of thought, a song, a personal experience, current events, the Bible, etc. These all become a source of inspiration as well as observing another artists work. They (visual and performing artists) are a major inspiration because we breathe the same air of imagination and creation.
