Marinera

This is a Marinera dancer, from a traditional dance in the north of Peru. Marinera dance is traditionally from the city of Trujillo and it´s danced by a couple. The costumes of the dancers change depending on the occasion and the place the dancers come from. My painting was taken from an image of a female Marinera dancer in the field of a Peruvian stepping horse breeder (you can see the diffuse environment of a kind of farm). If you notice this painting is different from the "A legacy shadow" in the way it was painted (techniques): it´s realism and not impressionism. The reason is that this is my fourth painting, from my early beginnings, however it´s quite beautiful artistically. I painted it when I was about 15. Thanks, I hope you like it. --- Esta es una bailarina de Marinera, de una danza tradicional del norte del Perú. La Marinera es tradicional de la ciudad de Trujillo y se baila en parejas. La vestimenta de los bailarines depende de la ocasión del baile y del lugar de donde estos provengan. Mi pintura fue tomada de una imagen de una bailarina mujer de marinera en un criadero de caballos de paso peruano (puede notarse por el fondo difuso de la pintura). Si te das cuenta, esta pintura es muy diferente de la pintura “Sombra de un legado”, en el sentido en cómo fue pintado (técnicas): es realismo y no impresionismo. La razón es que esta es mi cuarta pintura, de mis verdaderos comienzos,, pese a eso, es artísticamente bien hermosa. La pinte cuando tenía 15 años. Gracias, espero les haya gustado.
