Getting There started as a hand-painted acrylic artwork of the city and then digitally painted, animated, and finally, one hundred or more multiple layers are compiled to reveal the artwork. Linder combines real-world artwork with digital compositions that fuse texture from painting on canvas with motion animation, digital paint. Cityscape is a collection of hand-painted artworks of the big city. Each piece is scanned at a stunning 4k resolution and digitally painted, animated. 20 to 100 animated cells are stacked and stabilized then flattened. The resulting artwork is a merger of traditional paint with digital paint, printed as a giclée on canvas. Additional acrylic layers are added to it, giving depth and color to the original image. This systematic process was created by the artist over many years.
