Sunshine and Showers, Loch Achray. The swirling mists that pass across the the mountains above this beautiful loch, bring the possibility of yet more rain, casting grey shadows across the rugged landscape, yet in a instant this can all change quite dramatically as the sun once again breaks through the passing clouds to drench the scene in a glorious light. This is the atmosphere I want to capture in my paintings, I want the viewer to experience the beauty and emotions of the scene almost as if they were phyisically there.
