FUCK OFF PHILLISTINES

   There are those who seem to be of the opinion I am dead.My partner is certainly dead! i have exhibited at the 1992 BP Portrait awards, the first Athena Prize, and several group exhibitions.i was fighting against several untruths and have been made only too aware of the viciousness and nastiness that the Human Race is capable of.

I went to Reading University where they wanted to mould me into the academic gobshite of which they were so proud ,as several of the tutors at the time were subsequently finalists for the Turner Prize, and a couple actually won it they believed they were justified in trying to ignore the individual in favour of the greater good..I believed however that ignorance of the past leads to superficiality of form and substance.I have since fought a running battle either with bourgeois cretins who do not understand where I am coming from, or idiots who think because I like pinstripe suits circa 1945,I am some kind of Fascist, or want to be an estate agent.I have been ignored even though I proved that I could hold my own in the so called Prizes.and my interest in vintage styling is simply what it is,as I do not regard the way someone dresses as signifying status or belief,but merely personal taste.

It is easy to go with the flow, produce superficiality, or indeed cut dead sheep in half and suck up to rich morons with no taste.It is harder to try and find some inner truth and to try and find a signature by experimenting with technique.i could crap in a bottle and write a lengthy philosophical treatise to justify it in artistic terms.this does not make it art.This is not to say that conceptual work in general lacks merit, but that a reappraisal is needed, and the only reason it does not take place in terms of well argued dialectic is because certain collectors have bought on the basis of advice which has no real credence and are afraid that their collections may become worthless crap,as they are collections of commodities rather than art.

it is time for artists to learn their craft,it is time to find spirit and soul,it is time for those who have driven my wife to the grave and who are trying to do the same to me to get their comeuppance.,[There is even someone from Sussex who has been trying to sell my early work claiming I am dead].I have been ignored,patronised,treated like shit,falsely arrested  in my time,abused and harassed by some so called christians and other idiots who are simply 60's clones and bores,the epitome of the illiberal Liberal,and who seem to have no idea that what they have done is the total antithesis of morality.I have been accused of being a conman, a liar or mad.Now I will soon be without any money or a roof over my head,when all I want is to be understood and treated fairly.Some hope!!!Death, bring it on,better than the living death that Britain has become!!!
