She is a young artist who lives in Sao Paulo with daughter and cats. With Greek and Italian origins, Denise Chiara was born in Brazil: the art was in her genes.

Denise create her art in the world of chaos that she lives in but transform everything with vibrant colors. She turns ugly and bizarre in hope, irony and poetry.

"Brazil is not just samba, soccer and shakin ass. Brazil is a place for good people that still slaves of the world. Revolted or happy people. Almost everybody have no money to buy food. I live here."  Money is a big problem in Brazil, and it is no diffrent for Denise. She uses anything to paint: books, old doors, toasters. Everything she finds in the trash. She uses any material that is around to create: mass, crayon, oil and gouache, pens, pencils and school supplies for her daughter. The result is unusual and different.
