Born in London in 1980, Namik started painting at a very young age during his years at school in Somerset. He continued to paint, mostly in oils, during his university years in Canterbury. He now lives and works in Cyprus. His style is mostly impressionism, influenced by old masters such as Van Gogh and Monet. However, it can be seen from his paintings that he has developed an original and more modern approach to impressionism.
