"Robyn Peary is a new freelance textile designer specialising in printed textile and embroidery surface pattern design. She graduated in 2007 from Manchester Metropolitan University with a first in Textiles. She was selected to exhibit at the New Designers exhibition in London, and has since been busy building up a portfolio of freelance embroidery designs and private commission work for a range of clients.
She draws inspiration from nature, Japanese and Swedish design and contemporary illustrators and is a skilled artist, painter, printer, colourist, knitter and stitcher.
She enjoys working to both interior and fashion specifications and likes the challenge of working to different scales – from hand made accessories to designs for duvets.
Her portfolio includes: modern, beautifully coloured surface pattern designs and artwork for luxury interior spaces; hand crafted soft furnishings; and garments and fashion accessories."
